C & K Farms was started in 2021 by Carey and Katelyn Bragg in Wolverine MI. Carey and Katelyn both are third generation farmers from the northern Michigan area. Katelyn’s grandfather operated a small dairy in Boyne City for many years, so you could say that farming and even dairy farming runs in their blood.
Regenerative farming is not just a buzz word for C & K Farms, Carey and Katelyn are working to reclaim farmland that got overgrown from decades of abandonment and improving soil that was stripped from chemical use and mono cropping.
C & K Farms started out with dairy goats and chickens. However, they soon learned that goats were not the best fit for them, but since both of them can not digest A1 milk they were on the look out for a A2/A2 dairy cow.
They got their first dairy cow, Peanut Buttter in 2024 and soon they were offering herdshares and getting more cows. With a passion for providing their local community with access to fresh, raw, A2/A2 milk in a legal fashion they have continued to expand their herdshares and add more pick up locations.
In 2025 C & K Farms started a market garden and sold fresh, never sprayed produce at both their farm and at the Wolverine Farmers Market.
